Industrial aluminum profiles need to be cooled down quickly after extrusion. So what are the ways to cool down? How to choose aluminum profiles?

Aluminum Profile Cooling Methods

The aluminum profiles that have just been formed from the aluminum extrusion machine have extremely high temperatures and must be cooled before they can enter subsequent processes. Currently, the mainstream cooling methods are divided into air cooling and water cooling. Different cooling processes will give aluminum profiles completely different hardness properties.

Air Cooling

Uses fan air to achieve cooling. The process is relatively gentle. The hardness of the final formed aluminum profile is at a normal level. Suitable for ordinary scenarios that do not have high performance requirements — a conventional solution with outstanding cost performance.

Water Cooling

Involves immersing the aluminum profile in a water tank for quenching immediately after extrusion. Achieves extremely rapid cooling in just a few seconds and can greatly improve the hardness of the aluminum profile — the standard cooling process for high-end aluminum profiles.

How to Choose the Right Aluminum Profile

Whether it is conventional or high-end aluminum profiles, the aluminum profile frames constructed from them have a high usage rate in various industries. When selecting models:

Budget-Conscious
Ordinary aluminum profiles can fully meet the basic needs when budget is limited.

Performance-Driven
High-end aluminum profiles offer better performance and longer service life — the more ideal choice if economic conditions permit.

Our Products & Services

Full Series Profiles

A full range of high-end aluminum profiles covering 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 80, 90, 100 and other series.

Accessories & Hardware

A wide range of accessories including bolts and nuts, fasteners, shoe angles, and more for various assembly needs.

Custom Finished Products

Frames, workbenches, fences, steps, clean sheds, clean rooms, display racks — with drawing customization, mold production, or original designs.

Surface Oxidation Treatment Process

High-end aluminum profiles undergo rigorous surface oxidation treatment after extrusion and cooling. The pre-treatment process directly determines the final surface quality.

Step 1
Mechanical Sandblasting

Ultra-fine glass beads spray the surface to create a uniform and delicate surface texture.

Step 2
Degreasing Cleaning

Completely removes oil stains on the surface for a clean base.

Step 3
Alkaline Tank Treatment

Dissolves and removes impurities and fog, laying a clean foundation for oxidation.

Step 4
Oxidation Process

Electricity is energized in a constant-temperature electrolyte to form a dense and hard oxide film — the “protective armor” improving high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

Step 5
Sealing Process

Seals the micropores of the oxide film to further enhance weather resistance for stable performance in complex environments.

Step 6
Final QC & Shipping

Multi-stage cleaning, hot air drying, and strict quality inspection before packaging and shipment.
