Aluminum profile soundproof protective cover for workshop, practical solution for industrial noise reduction

 

In modern production workshops, the continuous noise generated by equipment operation will not only affect the working status of operators, but long-term exposure may also cause occupational health hazards. At the same time, dust splash and foreign matter intrusion can also easily damage the core components of precision equipment. With its flexible customization properties and solid structural performance, aluminum profile sound insulation shields have become the mainstream choice for taking into account safety protection and noise reduction needs.

 

The core selection of this type of protective cover always revolves around the size of the workshop space and the range of activities of the mechanical equipment. There is no need to blindly pursue high-standard profiles. Adaptation to the scene is the key. For conventional sound insulation protection scenarios of small and medium-sized equipment, 4040H aluminum profiles are a cost-effective choice. It can provide a stable load-bearing capacity of 400kg to 500kg, fully meeting the support needs of small closed frames. For medium and large sound insulation shields, the industry generally uses 5050 aluminum profiles as the main frame, with a wide load-bearing capacity of 200kg to 2000kg. The heavy range is enough to cover the protection requirements of most general production equipment; if it is a large workshop with open space, or a large-scale sound insulation cover for heavy and noisy equipment, 8080 aluminum profiles will be a safer choice. The super load-bearing capacity of 1500kg to 3500kg can ensure that long-span frames will not deform and loosen after long-term use.

 

Acrylic panels used as partition baffles can also be flexibly adjusted as needed: If you need to observe the operating status of the equipment at any time and facilitate daily inspections, you can choose transparent acrylic panels, which will not block the line of sight and can also achieve basic sound insulation and dustproof effects; if the equipment processing process is sensitive to light, or need to block the strong light and splashing debris generated by the processing, you can replace it with dark acrylic panels such as brown, black gray, etc., which have the dual functions of light protection and protection. In order to ensure stable installation and sealing, the acrylic panels will be cut into small pieces and embedded in the profile slots. Built-in connectors and hidden corner slot connectors are used to complete the splicing throughout the process. Additional corner pieces and bolts and nuts are added inside the frame for secondary reinforcement. The width of the external profile slots are all paved with flat sealing groove strips, which can not only prevent dust from accumulating in the gaps, but also further reduce the gaps for sound waves to penetrate and improve the overall sound insulation effect.

 

The access area of ​​the protective cover will be specially customized with an adapted opening and closing door. 1530 or 1560 light aluminum profiles will be used to make the door frame. Metal hinges will be used to connect the door frame and the main frame. Nylon door handles will be installed on the inner and outer sides to make the switch light and less likely to produce collision noise. The connection between the bottom of the entire protective cover and the ground is all fastened with foot connectors. Even if the equipment continues to vibrate during operation, there will be no problems with frame displacement or loose connections. It can still maintain stable sound insulation protection effects after long-term use.
