Aluminum profiles can be divided into 1-9 series according to the different content of aluminum and the different proportion of added alloy components:
Representative of 1xxx series: 1050, 1060, 1070 and 1000 series aluminum plates are also called pure aluminum plates. Among all series, 1000 series belongs to the series with the most aluminum content, and the purity can reach over 99.00%.
Representatives of the 2xxx series: 2A16(LY16), 2A12(LY12) and 2A06(LY6) have higher hardness, among which the content of copper is the highest, about 3-5%. 2000 series aluminum plate belongs to aviation aluminum, which is not often used in conventional industry.
Representatives of 3xxx series: 3003, 3003 and 3A21 are the main products. It can also be called antirust aluminum plate, and the production process of 3000 series aluminum plate in China is excellent. 3000 series aluminum plates are mainly composed of manganese, and the content is between 1.0 and 1.5.
Representatives of 4xxx series: aluminum plates of 4A01 and 4000 series belong to the series with high silicon content. Generally, the silicon content is between 4.5 and 6.0%. Belonging to building materials, mechanical parts, forging materials and welding materials; Low melting point and good corrosion resistance.
Representatives of 5xxx series: 5052, 5005, 5083 and 5A05 series. In China, 5000 series aluminum plates belong to one of the more mature aluminum plates.
6xxx series represents: 6061, which mainly contains magnesium and silicon, so it integrates the advantages of 4000 series and 5000 series. It is a cold-treated aluminum forging product with easy coating, high strength and strong corrosion resistance. 6xxx series is a frequently used product in the market at present. We mainly use 6063-T5 high-grade aluminum in Shangyue!
7xxx series representative: 7075, mainly containing zinc. It also belongs to aviation series. It is an Al-Mg-Zn-Cu alloy, which is a heat-treatable alloy. It is often used to manufacture aircraft structures, high-stress structural parts and molds that require high strength and strong corrosion resistance.
The 8xxx series is commonly used as 8011, which belongs to other series. Most aluminum plates, which are mainly used as bottle caps, are also used in radiators. Most of them are aluminum foils, which are seldom used.
9xxx series belongs to the standby series, and the International Federation of Aluminum Strip has specifically indicated that in order to cope with the appearance of aluminum plates containing other alloying elements.
