The production process of industrial aluminum profiles in Chongqing is divided into three processes: melting and casting, kneading and oxidation.
1. Melting and casting: According to the detailed alloy trademark that needs to be produced, the addition amount of various alloy components is calculated, and various raw materials are reasonably matched. Then, the prepared raw materials are melted in a melting furnace according to technical requirements, and the impurities and gases in the melt are effectively removed by degassing and deslagging. Under certain forging technical conditions, the molten aluminum is cooled and forged into round cast bars of various specifications through a deep well forging system.
2. Kneading: Kneading is a technique of profile forming. Firstly, the mould is designed and manufactured according to the commercial section of the profile, and the heated round casting rod is extruded from the mould by using a kneading machine. The commonly used trademark 6063 alloy is also kneaded with an air-cooled quenching process and a subsequent artificial aging process to finish the heat treatment strengthening. Different brands of heat treatable strengthening alloys have different heat treatment criteria. After strengthening, the hardness can be tested by W-20 Wechsler hardness tester.
3. Oxidation: The surface corrosion resistance of the kneaded industrial aluminum profile is not strong, so it must be treated by anodic oxidation to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and surface beauty of aluminum.
